Its a wonder with all the supposed innovations available that you may be confused about whats what?  We all want a quick beauty fix, whether it be tighter, smoother, clearer skin. Aging in today’s world can be difficult as the world seems to be extending its graces to the young, not so much the young at heart.  Luckily we are also of a time of options and solutions to help make yesterdays 40′s today’s 20′s, at least in appearance. Amongst the Botox and fillers a lot of us forget the very foundation of where the aging process begins.  Don’t get me wrong, I think Botox is an utter miracle, but even so it doesn’t eradicate the aging process, so it’s clear more work needs to be done.  If you were to think of your skin like a house for arguments sake; and you decided to build a house without a foundation, what do you think will  happen?  It will fall to the ground during the first big storm.  Not a good ending and not easy to repair let alone rebuild.  If we take this analogy and use it in regards to our skin health and aging process, using botox and filler alone may lead to disappointment in the future.  We need to take care of our skin before it falls to the ground.  A few great, simple solutions include exfoliating a few times a week, wearing a good sunscreen daily and staying moisturized.  For some these signs are already showing and now we need help.  One innovative procedure that is taking the anti-again industry by storm is Skin tightening and lifting.  As we age we start to notice laxity in our skin and most of us notice softening in the jaw and neck area first and foremost.  CALL THE SURGEON!  Ha, for some of us this is not the option yet or ever due to cost and comfort.  After a lot of hands on research (yes I submitted to as many treatments as possible).  I have come to a final consensus of what I believe to be the most effective lifting and tightening treatment available.  Ulthera.  FDA approved as not only tightening but the ‘only’ technology that has the approval specifically for lifting, Ulthera definitely delivers the goods.  This non-invasive procedure stimulated the production of new collagen and elastin deep within the skin and non-surgically lifts and tightens the skin tissue with no downtime.  I know, I know it all sounds to good to be true, but I guess you will just have to take my word for it.  I consider myself the beauty connoisseur of all things anti-aging and Ulthera has got me more than excited.  You can use Ulthera for lifting of the eyes, face, upper neck, full neck and most recently it has been FDA approved for the decollete.  The initial results are immediate but it just keeps getting better and better for upwards of 6 months.  Unlike lasers, which penetrate the skin from the outside in, Ultherapy works from the inside-out to lift and tighten non-invasively.  Ultherapy bypasses the surface of the skin, delivering focused ultrasound energy at just the right depth below the skin–to the same foundational layer typically addressed in a surgical facelift.  The skin’s response to this energy is to stimulate the growth of fresh, new collagen and elastin.  Final judgement?  Ulthera is amazing.  Price point can vary depending on how many areas you choose to do, but this is definitely not for the lady on a budget.  My thoughts… one less bag and a tighter more youthful face, a small price to pay.  So if your starting to feel the pull of the aging consider Ulthera, it will definitely pick you up in more ways than one.

Till next time, xoxo

Thanks for finally writing about > Skin Tightening and Lifting by Ulthera | Thornhill Skin Clinic < Loved it!

Would love to try it, but now? I am officially a lady on a budget. Maybe some day. Thanks

We would always love to see you when it is permitting for you. So nice to hear from you as always.

Candace this would benefit all of us. We are all naturally loosing connective tissue in our aging process, so if nothing else is needed, Ulthera will rebuild this weakened tissue. It will respond by being tighter and more suptle. The exrodinary results will be in the lifting and tightening effect. Ulthera is one of the most remarkable technologies I have had the priviledge to work with. I have no doubt you will be thrilled if you should decide to try it. We hope to see you soon.
